About
Johnny began his entertainment career at the tender age of 14; when his friends got Saturday jobs he became a DJ, entertaining at school disco's, wedding's and childrens parties. He has easily moved from DJ to holiday entertainer to a successful stand up/ comedy actor.
Johnny's early comedy career was shaped by performing on the Scottish club circuit, it was here on one of his first ever gig's he was told..." Son if you can make them laugh here, you can do it anywhere!", he did and his comedy act went from strength to strength. Johnny still performs on the club circuit but is now more likely to be seen performing for P & O Cruises, or major theatres round the country.
Johnny has spent 3 years in successful "Summer Seasons" at The Gaiety Theatre Ayr, The Pier Theatre Bournemouth and The Pavillion Theatre Cromer, this year he is looking forward to appearing at the Hippodrome Theatre in Great Yarmouth.
Johnny is much sought after on the pantomime circuit too, performing in many shows from Sleeping Beauty to Cinderella and topping the bill as Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Gaiety Theatre in Ayr. Johnny was delighted to join QDOS Entertainment last Christmas when he played the title role in Aladdin at the kings Theatre Edinburgh.
2009 will see Johnny tour the UK with "The Songs of Sister Act", carry out contracts for P&O cruises and Thomson Holidays and return to Edinburgh and The Kings Theatre to play Robinson in Robinson Crusoe.
